This product responds to farm operations where the owner is making a living by farming.  It covers a family operation and features the inclusion of the insured's dwelling in the policy.  This hard-working program provides:

• Comprehensive Personal Liability Coverage
• Outbuilding Coverage
• Personal Property Coverage on either a Schedule or Blanket option

A commercial approach is also available to Wilson's Standard Farmowner Program.  Utilizing the same comprehensive coverage, Wilson has adopted a Commercial Liability form to accommodate those farm risks that are commercial in nature and in need of farm premises and operations coverage, which do not include the insured's home or personal exposures.

For those who do not own the farm they are operating. This program provides:

• Personal Property Coverage
• Farm Personal Property Coverage
• Fire Legal Liability (for outbuilding rental exposure)

This program provides coverage for risks with farm structures or for those who incidentally raise livestock or crops aside from their normal occupations.

Our Farm Fire program offers various levels of coverage for farms not occupied and operated by the owner.  This plan provides premises liability for the insured where Wilson Mutual writes the primary home but not the rental farm.  Coverage for outbuildings and farm personal property is available as needed.

Wilson Mutual offers a Franchise Deductible Option for deductibles of $5,000, $7,500, or $10,000. This option essentially eliminates insured participation in losses that exceed the deductible.  For example, if there is a $5,000 franchise deductible on your policy and your barn is damaged by wind with a loss amount of $8,000, Wilson Mutual pays the entire $8,000. These high deductible options come at a significant savings to the policyholder.
